Adobe Lightroom

Adobe has launched today, a brand new beta version of a new piece of software called Adobe Lightroom. It’s a high powered image handler for professional photographers which will compete with Apple’s new Aperture piece of software. This is the first piece of software that Adobe has launched since their recent acquisition of Macromedia. I can’t wait to see some of the new software that Adobe puts out. Flash integration will be a huge plus in so many of their tools.

Also, Stephen Elliot mentioned in the comments of my last post about Adobe’s new Video Bundle that is in the works and is scheduled to be released this spring. I’m totally pumped for this piece of software. It’s rumored that After Effects will be getting a much due facelift. Can’t wait!

You can download a beta version of Adobe Lightroom for OSX here. Sorry windows users, no beta version yet.
