Film Festival
Pretty cool stuff! Check out “The Flux” It’s the first ever iPod Video film festival. The Flux is a contest for amateur cinematographers that asks them to squeeze their creativity onto the video iPod’s tiny color screen. There is no mention of what the prizes will be but the winners will be picked in four different categories: student film, indie film, family clip, and music video. The only guidelines are that the film must be shorter than 10 miniutes long, and all of the judging will be done by audience votes.
Here’s another project called the 168 Hour Film Project. They aslo have a new category this year that looks pretty cool: 3-5 minute films, for the growing market in handheld films and “sermon enhancement” films. Pretty cool to see that this style of film is becoming more popular.

This has absolutely nothing to do with your post, but I’m uber excited about the upcoming Adobe Video Bundle (now coupled with Flash Professional
and I need someone to share the excitement with. …and since nobody else really seems to care, I nominated you as the chosen one. =)
