Final Cut Studio 2
I don’t know about you guys but I am absolutely stoked about the new Final Cut Studio 2. I just ordered my upgrade yesterday and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. I will definatly post a full review once I have had a shot to tinker around with some of the new toys.
I am really looking forward to the new open format timeline in Final Cut. I am constantly having to create new sequences jumping back and forth from DVCPRO HD to DV. Now Final Cut does all of the hard work for you. That’s awesome!

I am also really anxious to play with Motion 3 and see how the new 3D capabilities stack up against Adobe After Effects. A lot of people are saying it can do just as much with about half the work. Well, I’ll belive it when I see it, but here is hoping.
I have to agree, the new Final Cut Studio looks impressive. I’ve watched a bunch of the videos on Apple’s site and it just looks like they are closing the gap between professional and pro-sumer.
With that said, I still haven’t been able to quite grasp Final Cut. I’ve been editing using Premiere for the past several years and I’m just too used to the way it runs to break myself into Final Cut…despite my desire. Maybe I need some training…
