Innovate 2007
So I have the pleasure of attending the Innovate 2007 conference at Granger Community Church in South Bend, IN. Lots of fun thus far. This morning we heard Guy Kawasaki speak on the Art of Innovation. Guy used to work for Apple and is a Silicon Valley guru. He gave some great examples of how the church can adopt some principles of the tech industry and become innovative in reaching people. Very cool stuff!
This afternoon I had the pleasure of hanging out with Jason Powell, who isthe IT director at Granger. It was great to talk shop with him in the IT breakout and then afterwards, just hanging out for a while. Granger is such a cool church, that’s doing some great things to reach people for Christ.

So funny you had Guy speaking at the conference. He came to my company’s biannual sales meeting and told us how to further incorporate technology into the education field (I work at Blackboard – educational software). He was pretty amazing and inspirational.
